Benjamin Buttner Guitar Lessons and Performance

With 10+ years of teaching experience Ben offers lessons that fit a variety of student's needs. He offers private lessons for guitar and piano in Ojai, Ventura and Oxnard and group lessons at the Ojai Recreation Dept. He works with all ages and puts together individual lesson plans based on students interests and experience. 
Private lessons can be arranged directly and through Charter Schools, Cardinali Bros Music, Lion City Studios and the Ojai Recreation Department.
Ben is qualified to teach guitar from beginning to advanced levels including college preparatory instruction for jazz and classical guitar. In addition to guitar he also offers lessons for beginning piano and beginning banjo.

Course description and pricing for Charter Schools

Students will learn how to read music as well as playing intuitively with proficiency on their instrument. Music Literacy is taught on all instruments of students choice. This includes sight-reading, understanding rhythm and harmony and techniques for composition and improvisation. Method books are used along with supplemental materials to help direct the students specialized studies and interests such as particular songs and music style choices. Other topics such as music history, music theory and music technology will also be explored.

Cancellation/reschedule Policy for music lesson contracts regarding Charter Schools
If a student needs to change an appointment time, teacher must be notified at least 24 hours before in order to receive a make-up lesson. Students are allowed 1 reschedule, if the appointment time is not kept by the student for a 2nd time, the lesson will be counted as a no-show, and the teacher is not obligated to reschedule.
